Apps Reaching Cancer Survivors
Thank you for your interest in the ARCS breast cancer research study at the University of Virginia and funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute. This study is seeking volunteers to test a mental health program delivered through a smartphone app.
ABOUT THE STUDY
IntelliCare is an interactive, smartphone app program designed to target the root causes of depression and anxiety symptoms. Through simple exercises, the program teaches scientifically proven skills to reduce worry, manage negative thoughts, and increase self-esteem. The purpose of this study is to find out if a smartphone app program is an effective way to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety in breast cancer survivors.
